Final Blog post
My favorite project this semester is the personal narrative because I wrote something very core of what made me who I am today. Also the narrative showed me how much sports changed my life and how much I've grown. I least like the i-search paper mainly because I've never done one before and I didn't know what it was suppose to look like. I have learned how to write an i-search paper and also how do MLA citations and formatting. Most importantly that it never pays to procrastinate on anything because papers need to be analyzed multiple times. I wished I learned how to do research for a very large paper that is at least 50 pages for future classes. The research paper we did in class was a good platform to start on I wish I learned to find more detail for a narrow topic.
Android
Android because they’re cheaper and most of their phones you can replace the BATTERY! The iphone is good for music and texting but that’s all to it’s advantages over android. Androids phones can replace the battery if your other one dies or it’s not recharging. The operating system on the iphone is not the greatest quality, more that half of it’s users seem to complain about the new ios. I have an ipod and an Android phone so I know the core layout for both pretty well and I like the freedom of the Android much better.
Imgur
Besides social media sites (Twitter, Facebook, etc), what other websites do you frequently visit?
I just recently been using Imgur which is a website/app that people post Gifs and pictures with captions that are usually funny, entertaining ,sad, controversial, and weird. True to this website as well, cat rule the internet and they’re hilarious. The controversial post are usually about topics in the news that need to be talked about and most people on Imgur are open minded people to everything. That’s why I love the app because people are not afraid to say what they want to say.
A Good Book.
Fahrenheit 451 is an easy read I had to read in my intro to lite class that I enjoyed very much. The book is about the basic concept of if society was strictly controlled and if you resented the government what would you do? I like the store for the survival aspect the main character experienced throughout the week that changed his life for forever. And the book is fictional but could very easily be a reality in today’s world. An I like the idea of being out matched and fighting with little chance of success the character has little of. It wasn't fictional poems or sonnets it was a concept that could be very real which is why I liked the book.
Vanilla
Vanilla of course because in the terms of ice cream more than half has vanilla in it. You know why because it’s the best! Also since it goes with every flavor even chocolate...funny how that works. You can never get sick of the taste of Vanilla it’s the base of every ice cream. That’s like being sick of water it’s just not going to happen. People can get sick over eating chocolate but you never hear stories of getting sick out Vanilla. You can’t even feed chocolate to your dog but it can eat all the vanilla ice cream it wants. It’s Vanilla hands down and just proved it…(mic drop)
Creative or Not
I’m not particularly creative in the sense of paintings and music, I have no ability to create original music or drawing. I enjoy those things but I’m not able to create something original off the top of my head. I am creative of how to entertain myself if I’m bored. If I have nothing to do I might fiddle with something like a coin or a ball by tossing in the air and making a mini game out of it. You make call that childish but at least I don’t continue being bored. Other than trying to control my low tension span with a game no I’m not creative. The low tension span is probably why I’m not a creative person I always want to being doing something and to be able to create art or music you need patience which I have none. So that’s another reason why I’m not a creative person.
My Major?
I would love to tell you my major only if I knew what I wanted to do. Being my first year I didn't have any clue what I want to major in so I jMust took general course to get them out of the way. Originally it was going to involve chemistry but after this semester I never want to take a chemistry class again. I also tried biology which was alright but very difficult so next I’m going to try physics and see if I like that. After that if I don’t like that i’m not sure what I’m going to do. I like math but also love history which do not mix at all that i’m aware of. So that’s why I’m at KCC to find out what I want to do with my life, hopefully I’ll find something by next year.c
